In the wake of the Federal Communications Commission’s recent approval of inordinate government regulation of the Internet, without much of an intellectual stretch we can see that seizing control of all free and open communications will be the government’s next unconstitutional move. The danger presented to a tyrannical government when a free people openly communicate with one another and share thoughts and information cannot be overstated. Why, folks might even suggest that illegal things done by government might best be answered by a free people rising up in revolution against taxation without representation, illegal search and seizure, or other violations of our Constitutional rights.
Imagine that – a free people openly rebelling against an illegal usurpation of civil rights. What next, marching in Selma, or Montgomery?
If “We The People” had representation from folks on our side of the aisle (hint – not Boehner or McConnell), we might be able to coalesce behind that representation and demand a cessation of the breaches of law by the illegal in the White Hut. The tantrum-prone child learned early on that the louder the better, the more public and embarrassing the encounter, the more successful the demand.
Our government has replaced “loud” with empty accusation and invective (i.e. racist, privileged, undemocratic, intolerant, hateful). We cower at the thought of being accused without evidence and cringe at the suggestion that we freedom-loving folks are anything but pure in our support of the Republic. Accusation = silence.
So what happened to the brave souls (our ancestors) who stood firmly, resolutely, in skirmish lines, muskets raised, knowing that many would die, but willing to sacrifice themselves for freedom? In the parlance of today, our skirmish lines cost us very little and definitely not the risk of our lives. For some at the forefront, there are the minor wounds of verbal jousting, but at the end of the day we get to go home, put our feet up, watch the tube, cuddle with our wives and enjoy a glass of whatever. No threat to our freedom or our lives.
But do we even do that much? Are we seen in public protesting wrongdoing, supporting the Rule of Law and the Constitution? A rare few are – most of the others are enjoying the fruits of the blood of patriots and our ancestors who willingly faced death or dismemberment for an ideal that we today have enjoyed. That ideal is being crushed by a dictator far more dangerous than any King George. That ideal is being crushed by collaborators (GOP leaders) who deceived us into believing that they shared our values and could be trusted to stand up for our rights. These cowards caved when we needed them and are now collectively in the service of the oppressor.
I sing in praise of those who will confront evil, armed to the teeth not just with righteous indignation, but with arms, armor and armament, prepared to lay down their lives for freedom. We have lived for over 200 years with the benefits derived from brave men and women, counting the cost, but being vigilant and aggressive in their defense of what is right and lawfully ours.
Stop this commie-Muslim-nihilist narcissistic megalomaniac in the White House from stealing our freedoms. When it comes time to take arms against the oppressor, be prepared and be ready to answer the call. This isn’t Syria; what have you got to lose – your head?
There are 330 million people living in America; probably around 310 million legal, law abiding, lovers of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We are being overrun by a tiny minority enamored of power and position, and dedicated to the eradication of the Republic. It is time to go to war, much as our Founding Fathers did. I suggest a silent guerrilla uprising that takes out the leadership of the leftist cabal and charge you, my friends, with making it happen.
If you do not get them soon, they will be coming for you and your families when they feel sufficiently emboldened and it fits the timing of their agenda.
