With his trial set for this Fall in a Canadian court, colleagues and supporters of Dr. Jim Garrow have begun a crowdfunding drive on his behalf. The Dr. Jim Garrow Legal Defense Fund crowdfunding drive began late last week, and is said to be off to a great start. Garrow’s book, The Pink Pagoda; One Man’s Quest to End Gendercide in China chronicles his work saving baby girls from female infanticide in China. Dr. Garrow spent 45 years as an operative for an agency of the United States government.
On Aug. 24, 2014, Garrow had just returned to his home from one leg of a US speaking tour, when he discovered an illegal firearm in the camper he had used on the trip. In attempting to turn it in to the police, he was promptly arrested and charged with several firearms violations. Though Garrow maintains that the weapon did not belong to him, it was determined two weeks ago that he will face trial later this year.
Many of those who are familiar with Garrow’s current work say they, like Garrow, know why this occurred. Since his release from government service, Garrow has become a very outspoken critic of the Obama administration, and a thorn in its side. The former government operative has been responsible for outing a number of clandestine and illegal administration operations that amount to treason against the United States, such as exposing the Obama White House’s implementation of a “litmus test” for high-ranking military officers concerning whether they would order their troops to fire on American citizens.
The charges against Garrow are a sham, of course; some believe that the planted weapon was intended to be found when Garrow crossed the border from the US into Canada, but for some reason, this did not transpire. Yet since his arrest, the wheels of Canadian “justice” seem to have been conveniently greased throughout – and not to Garrow’s advantage.
“In order for these charges to be laid, my Canadian Charter of Rights guarantees were egregiously violated,” Garrow recently told INN. “I turned the gun which was planted in my travel trailer over to my son in law – a police officer – who examined it, and declared it to be not only a restricted weapon, but an illegal one in anyone’s possession. He then gave it back to me without ever asking pertinent questions like “Is this yours..? Where did you get it..?”
By not asking the questions that any police officer should have asked, and then turning Garrow over to the RCMP, the officer was in violation of Garrow’s rights protected under the Charter.
After having Garrow (who was unknown to Obama at the time) bumped as a contender for the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize in the political scrambling that resulted in the prize that year going to a fraud who had never accomplished anything, Obama then discovered that his rival was a veteran of four decades in an agency of the United States intelligence community.
So, along with so many loyal intelligence and military personnel, Obama had him retired.
Garrow is a former educator who became internationally-known through his work in saving baby girls from infanticide under China’s “one child per family” law. Much of the work in which he engaged during his career (such as his work in China, Africa, and other nations) was a cover for his government work.
“With your help,” the crowdfunding page reads, “we can not only help Jim cover the heavy burden of his legal costs (tens of thousands of dollars to date), but sufficiently pressure two governments to drop these illegal charges.”
