Ever wonder why Progressives, Democrats, et al. are hopelessly fascinated with radical Muslims? Most of us, finding ourselves in the presence of a creature like 9/11 planner Khalid Sheikh Mohammed — usually pictured covered with body hair, looking as if he had just been pulled out of bed — would leap into a passing taxi or run up the street to get away from him.
But, it seems, a Dem would joyously bask in the evil radiating from him as long as possible. For this study, let’s leave aside President Obama, whose romance with Islam could fill another article.
A case in point is Dick Durbin (D-IL), Asst. Majority Leader of the United States Senate. Senator Durbin devoted a good deal of his time, not to the black children being murdered in Chicago, in the state he represents, but to the DREAM Act. That was a Progressive fantasy that offspring of illegal aliens, brought here as children, could be allowed legal status to remain here forever. Then they would joyously contribute to our free society. Senator Durbin calls them “dreamers.” He’s worked tirelessly — for the last 14 years — to get the DREAM Act passed.
It was passed by the Senate 68–32 in 2013. But it did not pass in the House.
Not to worry: in 2012, our dear leader unconstitutionally created his own DREAM Act, which legalized a potential 1.1 million children brought here by illegal alien parents. Senator Durbin refers to it on his website today as a status “which President Obama launched in 2012.”
That does sound better than “unconstitutionally created.” But Senator Durbin has another interest that’s close to his heart.
During the GOP debate on January 28, 2016, Dr. Ben Carson brought up the Muslim Brotherhood’s 1991 “Explanatory Memorandum,” which exhorted their members to destroy America from within. This is a jihad more insidious than shooting people at Christmas parties: It involves injecting Islam into every nook and cranny of Western civilization, until it becomes the law of the land. It seems clear that Durbin and a cadre of leftist Democrats are working hard to carry this mission out.
Last May, fourteen Senate Democrats, led by Durbin, called for the resettlement in America of 65,000 Syrian refugees.
In September, Durbin called for 100,000 Syrians to be admitted. “The senior Democrat’s comments echo those of 72 House Democrats who signed a letter to the White House calling for the United States to accept 100,000 Syrian refugees, reported The Hill.
In October, he repeated his call, claiming all refugees are carefully vetted “to make sure that they’re not a threat to the United States or anybody who lives here.” Only a few days later, FBI Director Comey said the opposite: Syrian refugees cannot be vetted because we lack a database against which to do so, like we had in Iraq. This is a “different situation,” he said.
Durbin was undeterred by that and by an article, from Gatestone Institute’s Soeren Kern, the month before, titled: “Germany: Migrants’ Rape Epidemic,” which said, “The raping of German women by asylum seekers is becoming commonplace.” Kern gave a partial list of more than twenty sexual assaults in the previous twelve months, adding that “dozens of other cases of rape and attempted rape — cases in which police are specifically looking for foreign perpetrators …remain unresolved.”
Durbin has a long history of supporting Muslims who want to come here.
Back in 2012, he had asked for “dreamers” to post their stories on his website. Here is one who was obviously very special to him.
On January 31, 2012, Senator Durbin stood in the well of the Senate, displaying a huge poster of Alaa Mukahhal sporting a Muslim hijab, with an American flag displayed in the background. You can watch the embarrassing video here.
TheBlaze reports that Durbin identified Alaa as: “A woman ‘of Palestinian descent.’” It has also been reported that in November 2012 she said, “I’m undocumented in America today because of the Nakba in 1948.” [Nakba means catastrophe; it’s the Palestinian term for the founding of Israel.]
Durbin said she was brought to the country illegally at a young age by her parents, went on to become an honor student, get a degree in architecture and now needs a path to citizenship so, he said, she could fulfill her “American dream.”
Reading from a letter she had written, he said:
“‘I’m an asset to this country, a resource, and I want to make good use of my degree.’”
He closed with:
“In the finest American tradition, Alaa has become an activist. She has stepped out to introduce herself to America, so we know who these Dream Act students are.”
However, Alaa’s Facebook page (now mysteriously taken down) revealed that she might not be such an asset to America. According to her posts, she is, in fact, a rancorous, foul-mouthed, Israel-despising radical whose life revolves around “organizing.” And we know what that means.
She laughed about the American flag used by Durbin as a prop in the Senate:
Did ya’ll notice the flag in the background of the pic? That was no coincidence #messaging #lol
She did not reveal whether Durbin’s people had set up the flag prop for effect, but obviously she hadn’t done it alone.
“In an open letter to her parents, Alaa didn’t discuss her American dream, but her passion for community organizing:
“‘Dear Mama and Baba, I can’t stop organizing. Organizing is the reason I get up in the morning. I have to, need to organize because the alternative, doing nothing and staying silent is more oppressive than the immigration system itself.’”
She blames Israel for her illegal status. A post about the Jewish State, replete with bitterness and F-bombs, underscores that:
“‘F**k Israel. F**k Zionists and all the Zionist apologists. F**k them all.’”
Alaa waxes poetic about white people and countries like America [language warning]:
“‘Every damn time, without fail, there’s news about Muslim women, everybody suddenly becomes an expert about Islam, Muslims, women in Islam, & Middle Eastern politics.
Here’s a PSA: shut the f**k up.
“‘Here’s another PSA, esp to white ppl: stop trying to “liberate” or “save” us. Seriously, just quit. Everybody. You wanna help? Tell your damn governments and people to stop bombing our countries, end your imperialistic s**t, and treat us as the human beings that we are who actually make decisions for ourselves. So sick of seeing all these people giving their irrelevant analysis every time a Muslim woman sneezes.
“‘Just quit. I’ve run out of patience for ya’ll.’”
Doesn’t Alaa make a fine addition to America? We can certainly see why she’s a Durbin favorite.
Questions come to mind about Senator Durbin, who evidently doesn’t find at-risk black children in his home state nearly as charming as Alaa: Just what is the fascination? Did he find her Exotically cool?
Our beloved Hillary showed similar propensities more than once. Surely you remember “The Kiss”? Hillary, who fashions herself a supporter of Israel, was on the West Bank, standing next to the charm-exuding Suha Arafat, who had just finished a speech accusing Israel of poisoning Palestinians, when Clinton apparently lost control of her emotions and planted a hot wet kiss on the cheek of the surprised Suha. This took place on November 11, 1999. We have to admire a person who knows she intends to go into politics, yet does not fear to display her adoration for the widely unloved Suha Arafat.
We are all familiar with Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, who is married to erstwhile Congressman Anthony Weiner. You may remember that Michele Bachmann and four other patriots signed letters to various government officials asking for investigations into possible undue influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in these agencies.
The letter alleges that the Deputy Chief of Staff under then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, had 3 close family members “connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations.”
Andrew C. McCarthy reports that the letter “actually understated the case.” [Emphasis added.]
“The letter averred that Abedin ‘has three family members connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations.’ It turns out, however, that Abedin herself is directly connected to Abdullah Omar Naseef, a major Muslim Brotherhood figure involved in the financing of al-Qaeda.
“Abedin worked for a number of years at the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs as assistant editor of its journal. The IMMA was founded by Naseef, who remained active in it for decades, overlapping for several years with Abedin. Naseef was also secretary general of the Muslim World League in Saudi Arabia, perhaps the most significant Muslim Brotherhood organization in the world. In that connection, he founded the Rabita Trust, which is formally designated as a foreign terrorist organization under American law due to its support of al-Qaeda.”
Apparently, the Clintons have a penchant for hiring controversial Muslims rather than, say, Cuban exiles. A former high official in the Clinton Foundation, Gehad el-Haddad, went on to become the English-language spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood and was ultimately sentenced to life in prison by an Egyptian court, “According to Reuters.
The Washington Free Beacon reported:
“El-Haddad gained a reputation for pushing the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamist agenda in the foreign press, where he was often quoted defending the Brotherhood’s crackdown on civil liberties in Egypt, during the ill-fated regime of President Morsi.
“El-Haddad’s employment at the Clinton Foundation overlapped with his official work for the Muslim Brotherhood, which began in Cairo in February 2012 when he assumed control of the Renaissance Project, a Brotherhood-backed economic recovery program. Both Gehad El-Haddad and his father, Essam el-Haddad, were the closest advisors to Mohammad Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood-linked president of Egypt, who was deposed after massive public protest against his rule.
“He officially became a senior adviser for foreign affairs in Morsi’s Freedom and Justice Party in May 2011, when he was still claiming to be employed by the Clinton Foundation.”
Michael Meunier, writing in IPT News, said:
“A stream of meetings… followed between … U.S. Ambassador Anne Patterson and Brotherhood members since her arrival in Egypt shortly after the 2011 revolution [deposing Mubarak]. The ambassador seemed to favor the Brotherhood and the hard line Salafis over the rest of the secular players in Egypt.” Here she is on January 18, 2012, ecstatically meeting with Muhammad Badie, The Brotherhood’s Supreme Guide:
The International Project on Terrorism reports that: “References to Jews as ‘apes’ and ‘pigs’ … are repeatedly found in the speeches of … Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohammed Badie.
“‘The Zionists, the West and the lackey rulers conspired together.… Of old, God forced the Jews to become pigs,’ Badie said in a July 7, 2010 sermon found on the Brotherhood’s website.
“Badie returned to the theme in a June 14, 2012 speech on the eve of Morsi’s election:
“‘The Lord of Glory has threatened these murdering Zionists criminals with a penalty of a kind which operates in this world before the Hereafter,’ Badie said, then quoting: “So when they were insolent about that which they had been forbidden, we said to them, ‘Be apes, despised.’ [Quran 7:166].”
Wouldn’t anyone greet such a man ecstatically?
The overwhelming devotion of Democrats to Muslims with radical links has unquestionably degraded the national security of America. But when does this behavior rise to the level of treason?
Merriam-Webster defines treason as: “the crime of trying to overthrow your country’s government or of helping your country’s enemies during war” [Emphasis added].
The Brotherhood declared war on America, back in 1991.
