Muslims have successfully muzzled Americans’ right to free speech. Houston teacher Angela Box had the audacity to speak out against Muslim demands for special food in schools when they’re living on public assistance. Saying something so blatantly truthful and honest gets a person threatened by the New Black Panthers in Houston, specifically the notorious Quanell X, and subsequently forced into resignation for “racist” comments. Box resigned Thursday, December 4, 2014 to little fanfare or media attention.
Undoubtedly, Houston third grade teacher Angela Box is paying the price for America’s acceptance of Muslim bullying and pandering. To speak out against the religion is “racist” in the country’s politically correct hell hole of religious “tolerance.” Even though Islam is not a race, it still is “racist” to speak out against the death cult. When they threaten, people jump a hundred feet in the air to please them, just as the Houston ISD did in “encouraging” her resignation. Parents and teachers also felt she was a liability.
How did Box find herself in the crossfire of Quanell X? She spoke out about President Obama and Muslims demanding special treatment on an talk show called “Tommy’s Garage.” The show plays on a late night local cable access station. This made her an instant target of Mr. X’s wrath. Quanell X is a menacing black Muslim and one of the most notorious “community activists” alive today, and he took aim at Box’s jugular for making such statements.
Quanell X is so dangerous he was forcibly removed from the Nation of Islam in the late 1990’s. What was his crime? Trying to incite riots amongst Houston blacks. The man would be welcomed in with open arms in Ferguson, Missouri today. But instead, he works to keep the community of Houston riled up about race, and he focused his attention on Angela Box. What he accused her of is atrocious, despicable, and it cost Box her livelihood. CBS Local in Houston quoted Box’s psychological torture by Quanell X, and it is harrowing.
“Unfortunately, the character assassination I suffered at the hands of Quanell X, the New Black Panther Party, The New Black Muslims, and others ruined any chance of continuing this journey with my students. His false statements and threats of violence made the situation at my school simply impossible for everyone,” Box wrote in a statement.
Mr. X went so far as to accuse Box of using the “n-word” and also the “f-word” on the show. Hit with this double whammy of racist accusations, she was literally thrust into a corner, one she could not get out of. To be labeled as racist against both Muslims and blacks is a to be sliced with the proverbial sword. This is a mortal wound, a gash one doesn’t recover from.
Does Mr. X have to answer for what he did to Box in ending her teaching career and threatening her with physical violence? No. He did nothing wrong. Being black and a Muslim, all he has to do is imply racism on the part of the white Ms. Box, and she’s finished in the eyes of the community. The HISD did not back her up, but “recommended” she resign.
“District administrators recommended accepting Box’s offer of resignation after determining it was in the best interest of the school and its students.”
The article from the local Houston affiliate implies that Box went on an inappropriate adult themed show. This is simply not true. Box spoke out against radical Islam on a conservative talk show, plain and simple. This is her only crime. For this she will pay with all that she holds dear.
She said, “As I have said before, opposing President Obama and sounding the alarm about radical Islam does not make me a racist. I did not make the statements containing the racial epithets Mr. X attributed to me, as he has since admitted. However, the damage to me has been done.”
In America, one is guilty until proven innocent in the crime of “racism.” Horrifically, speaking out against Islam is now a form of racism, making the mere mention of its atrocities a liability, as the courageous Islamic truth teller Pamela Geller could tell anyone who has the inclination to hear. To speak out against Islam makes a person public enemy number one. Quanell X is a domestic terrorist, and he is in the good graces of the Houston community, while a respectable and decent teacher, Angela Box, is the villain in this story. What is wrong with this picture? Everything, which is why America cannot survive in this climate.
