So… ISIS has now gruesomely beheaded British aid worker David Haines. The idea that Haines and American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff died at the hands of primitive proto-humans, their hands bound by these deviant cowards, unable even to fight for their lives angers me beyond description.
While British Prime Minister David Cameron called Haines’ murder “an act of pure evil” and said that Britain and other nations must “drain this poison from our society,” he continues to labor under the delusion and articulate that Islam is “a religion of peace.” Meanwhile, the Obama administration continues the feeble coordination of its half-hearted campaign against ISIS whilst attempting to defray mounting evidence that the White House itself, with malice aforethought, created the terror group in its wide-ranging effort to destabilize the West and destroy America.
As of this weekend, the White House was pressuring Congress to vote this week in favor of President Obama’s plan to “destroy” the Islamic State – whatever that means. I suppose Congress will need to pass the plan before they get to see what’s in it. Supposedly, it involves the training and arming of yet more “moderate” Syrian rebels, and that sending U.S. troops is not an option. This despite the fact that all of the military resources the administration has provided to them to date are now in the hands of ISIS.
At this point, as far as I am concerned, any American who is offended by a neighbor displaying the American flag can go straight to hell. Any American who is offended when they see an American serviceman in uniform can go straight to hell.
Any Muslim on American soil who is offended when they see someone engaging in an activity that they find objectionable (like eating a ham sandwich, or drinking liquor) can go straight to hell.
And any American who believes that the rest of us ought to accommodate those so offended can go straight to hell as well.
I say this as a means by which I may express my sympathies in this area. If I had my way, those so offended would be given the choice of either dealing with their discomfort in silence, or leaving America. Obviously, I do not have the power to bring any of these things about, so I am relegated to merely expressing my sympathies.
And don’t talk to me about “principled people of conscience” expressing their discomfort with the American flag or the soldier in uniform as symbols of aggression or war. This is an infantile point of view; it’s almost like a person deciding to starve themselves to death after determining that killing anything at all, plant or animal, is somehow murder. One cannot live in a free society that has been established and maintained through the force of arms, and denigrate the symbols of that freedom.
Such societies are only established and maintained through the force of arms; it is the price of freedom.
If you don’t want to see American flags or American soldiers in uniform, move to China. See how far you get in getting them to curtail the display of their “symbols of aggression.”
As for the Muslim, the history of Islam and the Unholy Koran itself have proven that this primitive creed is wholly incompatible with all others, and it is antithetical to American principles and values. Like their advance troops before them have done for 1300 years, Muslims trickled into Europe over the last few decades, which was permitted by naïve liberals and progressive elites seeking to fund their Cyclopean social programs. Now, Muslims control entire areas, which are unsafe for Europeans. They murder their hosts, rape their children, enslave women, march in the streets protesting others consuming ham sandwiches and liquor – and Europeans tolerate it.
Were there a sane soul in their governments, they would expel every Muslim, citizen or no, back to the countries of their ancestors.
As we should do here in America. The American tradition of inclusion and acceptance has been exploited by progressives whose objectives include undermining this nation on every front, as well as Islamists, whose goal has always been conquest.
In America, we have incontinent morons like Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) who claim that people who oppose the imposition of Sharia law in America are bigoted. This woman is either too stupid to realize that the Constitution (which she took an oath to uphold) is the supreme law of the land, or she simply doesn’t care. We have one Muslim congressman (at present); Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MI). Has anyone ever asked him, I wonder, how he has reconciled the conflicts between our Constitution and his faith’s commands?
This is how it begins. Moronic old whores like Maxine Waters open the door, and people like Keith Ellison breeze happily through. Soon, like in Britain, there are scores of lawmakers who are professed Muslims, practicing the taqiyya of the “moderate Muslim” in Parliament (Congress), whilst preaching the ascendency of Sharia law to their Muslim constituents.
As Daniel Greenfield of the Freedom Center so eloquently put it in FrontPage Magazine:
“What Western governments call radicalization is the process by which the Muslim becomes aware of the dictates of his faith and their relevance to his life. It’s not the internet preachers with their fatwas. They are just the vectors for that awareness. The problem is Islam.
Within the historical context of Islam and in the words of the Koran, our idea of the good Muslim is actually a very bad Muslim. And our idea of the bad Muslim is the best of all Muslims. When we argue that Islam is a religion of peace, we are pushing against the full weight of over a thousand years of history and religious ideas and counting on Muslims to be too ignorant of them to know any better.”
As my colleague Steve Deace recently opined, “Anyone claiming anything to the contrary has either not read the Q’uran, has no knowledge of history, is lying, or is willfully ignorant.”
How did we get to the place where Americans are offended by neighbors who display the American flag, or servicemen in uniform? How did we get to the place where the patently insane doctrine of societal suicide was readily accepted? A well-coordinated effort on the part of America-hating leftists, deviants, and assorted malcontents, twisting the First Amendment, as well as our tradition of inclusion and good intentions, that’s how.
The latter, by the way, were rooted in Judeo-Christian mores and sensibilities. Thus, I would add that any American who is offended when they see the display of a cross, a Menorah, symbols of Christmas, or the Star of David can go straight to hell too, because typically these people are either anti-theists who wish their beliefs to be tolerated while refusing to tolerate the beliefs of others, or their intolerance is conveniently selective; for example, these hypocrites often admonish us to tolerate Islam while they seek to disenfranchise Christians and Jews.
Employing psychology – child psychology, really – at the basest levels of our consciousness, they engaged in little more than sandbox taunts and invective to sway us, always against our better judgment. They called us prudes when we balked at their Sexual Revolution, racists when we raised eyebrows at Affirmative Action, and homophobes when we questioned the oxymoron of “gay marriage.” Now, they call us Islamophobes, because we question the wisdom of baring our throats to the primitive doctrine and deceit of a Sixth-Century death cult.
As a society, we have fallen for it – hook, line, and sinker.
The good news is that contrary to popular belief, one person can make a difference. I’m doing what I can. What are you going to do?
