Someone should’ve told Obama, “be careful what you wish for.” It’s been his wish—and his mission, from day one, to reduce America’s military power and influence in the world to a minimum. Something like the clout and prestige of Iceland would be about right, in his estimation.
Unfortunately, a major feature of the Obama psyche is a craving for respect, even adulation, from others. But let’s face it: the president of Iceland doesn’t take up much space on the world stage.
So, our dear leader must be in a fugue over Putin’s recent treatment of him: moving armed forces into Syria, then dispatching a three-star general to our embassy in Iraq bearing a démarche—formal diplomatic notice—that American air and ground forces are requested to depart from Syria before air strikes commence. Their targets have been the U.S.-supported rebels who’ve been trying to topple Syria’s Assad since 2011; though the Russians did hit Raqqa, ISIS’s home base on Friday, the third day of strikes.
Sadly, the American people have to depend upon Obama and his Revolutionary Guard: the Media, for information on Syria, and all they’ve gotten is Taqiyya—a mainstay in the Muslim science of deception.
But Putin’s actions have exposed the truth: Obama has no legal standing to be in Syria, and Putin does—the latter is responding to a request from his ally, the president of Syria, what’s left of it after four years of Obama “foreign policy,” trying to unseat Assad with a ragtag band of rebels who can’t decide whether to topple Assad or join ISIS.
Obama’s allies in Syria are a horde of militant fronts, including outright terrorist groups like al Qaeda–faction al Nusra, which the Middle East Monitor reported has pledged “allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS),” and Jaysh al-Muhajirin wa al-Ansar, “which seeks to establish an Islamic state in Syria. It’s “led by Chechen jihadist … Omar al-Shishani, who has aligned himself with ISIS.”—BBC.com
In 2012, we trained some 200 troops in the Jordanian town of Safawi, who later joined ISIS, WND reported.
We’ve also supplied rebel groups, such as the non-terrorist Free Syrian Army, who then turned those supplies over to terror groups. On September 25th, Centcom reported that FSA had turned over 25 percent of its weapons to al Nusra, apparently for safe passage through its operating area.
So one could conclude that we’re assisting ISIS, by proxy.
Obama’s rationale for overthrowing Assad is he’s forfeited his right to rule by killing his own people, during the four-year uprising.
But why didn’t shooting protestors motivate Obama when Iran killed hundreds of demonstrators and arrested 10,000, during the Green Revolution? Those rebels were pleading with Obama for nine months to help them, to no avail.
That was because Obama reportedly had a secret plan for Iran from the start. Earlier this week, the Argentine president told the UN that:
“In 2010 we were visited in Argentina by Gary Samore, at that time the White House’s top advisor in nuclear issues….They came to ask us…to provide the Islamic Republic of Iran with nuclear fuel. …. It was Ahmadinejad’s administration.”
A year later, he and Kerry were in secret negotiations with Iran, with the pre-concession that we accepted Iran’s right to enrich uranium, according to the Washington Free Beacon.
Now, they’ve negotiated an agreement with Iran, which allows it to take its own soil samples to monitor its nuclear progress.
Obama’s Grand Scheme for the Middle East
Clearly, this will make Iran the dominant power in the Middle East; and indeed, counterjihad and Iran expert Clare Lopez declared in a WND interview:
“I am convinced that this administration intends Iran to become the nuclear power hegemon of the entire Persian Gulf region – and that includes especially the oil-rich areas.” She added: “The administration’s plan, I believe, is to remove American power and influence, including military forces, from Islamic lands,” Lopez asserted.
She also believes Obama plans to divide the Middle East between two groups of jihadis: Shiite and Sunni, turning over Tunisia, Egypt and Libya to al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. Syria was designated to remain in Iran’s sphere, but it’s become a sticking point, because Sunni jihadis want it also, and Obama is influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood, which “has deeply infiltrated his administration and other branches of the federal government.” Thus he’s been helping their brother jihadis in Syria.
It seems evident that Obama meant to unseat Assad—the next secular dictator in line—to allow jihadis to come to power. That was clearly the intent in Egypt, as this writer has outlined before, bringing a
Muslim Brotherhood leader, Mohammad Morsi, to the presidency—to the obvious joy of the Obama Admin. Fortunately, history’s largest protests forced Morsi’s removal only a year later.
It was reportedly the intent in Libya, as well:
“The Citizen’s Commission on Benghazi’s interim report, in a paragraph titled ‘Changing sides in the War on Terror,’ alleges ‘the U.S. was fully aware of and facilitating the delivery of weapons to the Al Qaeda-dominated rebel militias throughout the 2011 rebellion.’ ”
“ ‘In early 2011, before Gadhafi was deposed, Christopher Stevens came to Benghazi in a cargo ship, and his title at the time was envoy to the Libyan rebels,’ which basically means Christopher Stevens was America’s very first envoy to al-Qaida,’ ” explained Clare Lopez, a member of the commission.”
“ ‘At that time, Stevens was facilitating the delivery of weapons to the al-Qaida-related militia in Libya,’ Lopez continued.” The operation was coordinated with the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood, she said.
Assad put up a fight, instead of gracefully stepping down. Obama has caused the displacement of millions and the virtual destruction of Iraq and Syria, in a four-year civil war that has engulfed Europe in a tidal wave of refugees. Now it appears that Russia, with Iran forces also involved, intends to restore Syria to stability under Assad, and back into Iran’s domain.
Obama is indeed a miracle worker: he’s made Putin, and even Assad look good.
Those on the ground applauded Russia’s intervention. KFOR.com reported, “The Iraqi Prime Minister welcomed Russia’s involvement in the fight against ISIS.
“Well, of course it is beneficial,” Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said in an interview with PBS. “Don’t forget, Iraq was attacked from across the Syrian border … by Da’esh, by ISIL.
Cheri Nocita Berens, an American correspondent living in Egypt, reports that people in the devastated areas are also grateful for Russia’s intervention:
“Syrians, Egyptians, and anyone who really knows what has been happening in Syria is thrilled that Russia is coming to the rescue. When Russia made the statement for the US to clear out of that fighting space, basically they were saying: If you are involved with those Islamist groups that we are taking out—you’d better get out now. When the Syrian people heard the announcement that Russia was joining their fight today, people began dancing in the streets.”
The American people, beguiled by their media, are unaware of just whom we’ve been helping:
“In Egypt there were enough Muslim Brotherhood members to be able to take over. Not so in Syria. Islamists were there and organized, but had to call in thousands of Islamists from Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Egypt and Chechnya [to defeat Assad]. That is who has been fighting in ‘Rebel’ groups from the very beginning, even the groups backed by the U.S., or I should say, backed by Obama.
“They are Islamists who wanted to impose Islamic Law. Not one of them wanted a democracy–you were lied to. These “rebel” groups began by hitting minority villages, Christian, Yazidi, Alewite, Kurd, etc., and immediately began imposing Islamic Law as they conquered territory throughout Syria. This war was never about trying to form a democracy.
“US-backed rebels have attacked villages and forced Islamic Law on civilians. The rebel groups and ISIS have been destroying parts of Damascus and Aleppo during the last few weeks. Displaced people—many of them my friends—have had to flee their villages and go to Damascus & Aleppo over the last year or so when they have escaped from ISIS or rebel attacks. Now they have been pounded by US rebels and ISIS in Damascus and Aleppo, too.
“The situation has been quite dire and the Syrian Army has been running out of manpower. ISIS and rebels have taken over half of Syria. They were close to taking a major airport & army base and it would have been the end of Syria. Gone to Islamists. In celebration of their win they would do as they always do when they take a village or city—massacre Christians, Yazidi, Druze–rape and behead and torture.”
