(Instigator News) – Author and talk show host Steve Quayle posted on his website on October 5 that the mother of a U.S. Marine from Lumberton, Texas recently came into his sister’s workplace visibly distraught and in tears. She allegedly confided to Quayle’s sister that her son (who has only been out of boot camp for a few months) was told by his captain that his company is going to start training for martial law situations.
The captain asked him and several other younger Marines if they were mentally prepared to start going door-to-door and confiscating weapons from civilians in Texas. He said that this also meant setting up checkpoints on highways and other roads to search vehicles for firearms.
The captain then reportedly said that during the weapons confiscation process, the Marines may have to lethally engage the public.
When the young Marine told his captain that he could not tactically engage U.S. civilians, the captain said that if they felt they could not carry out such missions, he would have them out-processed and honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. The captain severely warned the Marines if they discussed this to their counterparts, friends or family, he would make their lives “a living hell.”
The Marine is reportedly stationed in California at present.
