The destruction of Europe unfolds before our very eyes, as it absorbs hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing Syria, where Obama has pursued a devastating civil war for the last four years, and Iraq, where ISIS gobbles up huge swaths of territory, beheading and immolating Christians and Yazidis at will. Our president combats ISIS with 7 air sorties a day, a third of which return to base still carrying their payload. His destruction of Libya provided a convenient launching point for human trafficking to Europe.
Thousands of others, more properly called “migrants,” flee unrest, poverty and oppression from Afghanistan, Somalia and Eritrea, headed for Europe—mainly Germany, which let it be known they’d take 500,000 migrants a year, or more. Many of them are Muslims, promising a culture clash with the West, which is mostly Christian.
The clash manifests in violent protests and the skyrocketing incidence of rapes. It seems Middle Eastern Muslims are unable to process the sight of western women’s uncovered hair and—to Muslim eyes—scanty dress. They interpret it as a green light for sexual abuse. In spite of this, EU leaders welcome the hordes descending upon them, even evicting their own citizens to house them. The project is not popular with native Europeans whose street protests are met with charges of racism, from their governments.
Given the newcomers’ birth rate, dwarfing that of Europeans’, the continent as we know it is doomed to a future as “New Somalia.” But let us not think we will escape the same fate. We’ve already seen our own wave of refugees swarming across our southern border, and the Muslims are next.
In June of 2012, Obama had approved the renewable “temporary” deportation relief (non sequitur intentional), under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals plan called DACA. People brought here as children by their illegal immigrant parents were eligible—1.1 million of them, reported Pew Research.
As any dolt might guess, DACA signaled a new open border policy for minors, and over 100,000 unaccompanied children (UACs)—mostly from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras—flowed over our southern border, by Border Control figures: 38,833 in 2013 and 68,631 in 2014. It was oddly similar to what’s happening in Europe today.
Just as Germany virtually invited a flood of migrants, It was reportedly “all over the news in Central America that if you bring your kids north you have a free pass…” a Homeland Security source told Judicial Watch.
Central American newspapers reported a warm welcome and resort-like conditions awaited them. From La Prensa, in Honduras, for example:
“According to authorities …, the [children] will be accommodated between 3 and 4 months, while their parents or relatives in the United States … are [located].”
It continued, “During your stay, plus accommodation and food, children receive English classes, play sports and participate in targeted programs while immigration authorities contact their families. According to the Department of Homeland Security in 2013, 88% of children met with a family who took care of them after spending an average of 40 days under the responsibility of the authorities…The costs of accommodation … are the responsibility of the DHS.”
Diario El Mundo, a Salvadorian paper, quoted U.S Sec’y. of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson:
“…A child who crossed the border illegally with their parents, or in search of a father or a better life, was not making an adult choice to break our laws, and should be treated differently than adult violators of the law.”
Of course, congressional Democrats, always ready to embrace what’s worst for America, declared this to be a humanitarian crisis—the same phrase used by EU leaders today. For example:
“Senate Appropriations Chairwoman Barbara A. Mikulski (D-MD) told a panel, ‘This is a humanitarian crisis, and …our failure to appropriate could exacerbate the humanitarian crisis.’ ”
“New Hampshire Senator Sen. Jeanne Shaheen reportedly added, ‘Rather than worrying about … where the money comes from, we need to think about what we can do that’s right for the kids.’”
The National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers did not agree: “This is not a humanitarian crisis. It is a predictable, orchestrated and contrived assault on the compassionate side of Americans by her political leaders…,” said [a] statement.
“Certainly, we are not gullible enough to believe that thousands of unaccompanied minor Central American children came to America without the encouragement, aid and assistance of the United States government,” the officers said.
Judicial Watch confirms that statement:
“The Obama administration blames the sudden influx on persistent violence in Central America, but a veteran Border Patrol agent who heads the agency’s Tucson sector union, says rumors of amnesty are responsible for the ‘unforeseen’ bombardment. When agents ask the illegal border crossers what drove them, ‘we are hearing a lot of amnistía (amnesty),’ said Art Del Cueto, the Tucson Border Patrol Union president….
“Senior administration officials insisted the situation, which President Obama says is a humanitarian crisis, is under control. The officials also assured that all of the illegal alien minors will be put in removal proceedings…”
“American taxpayers will fund their stay in specially created shelters and military facilities. The Obama administration has also launched a special program called Justice AmeriCorps to give them free legal help.,” said Judicial Watch. DHS has even transported them to their parents’ locations.
“The immigrants come seeking ‘permisos,’ … the ‘Notices to appear’ or NTAs, the legal documents given to non-Mexicans caught at the border that officially put them in deportation proceedings — but that also grant them at least a temporary entry to the interior of the U.S,” the Washington Times notes.
But National Review has reported that well over 90 percent of those getting NTAs never appear, and simply melt into our society.
The Obama Administration presents the UAC invasion as a spontaneous incident. But TheBlaze reported that the govt. had put out a call January 29, 2014, on a site advertising “Federal Business Opportunities” for “Escort Services for Unaccompanied Children. Read the full description here.
The children were transported throughout the nation; see detailed map. Breitbart reported in 2014, at the height of the crisis, that the Obama administration dumped at least 1,000 illegal immigrants in Arizona—without informing Arizona officials,” who found out about it through press reports.
“According to data from the Justice Department obtained by Breitbart News, 96 percent of Central Americans caught illegally crossing into the country last summer are still in the United States. The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIRus.org) filed a Freedom of Information Act request to discover the cost of accommodating the tens of thousands of illegal unaccompanied minors who came across the border.”
Unfortunately, ICE stonewalled most of the requests. “The agency provided only the costs of transporting, transferring and removing illegal minors…. Those costs totaled $58.2 million—quadrupling ICE’s costs of $15.6 million in the year previous.”
But the influx of illegal minors has also put immeasurable strain on the education system, because a misguided federal law dictated that any form of underage humanity on American soil is entitled to a free education. As FAIR notes, “educating 68,541 illegal immigrant children [will] cost … at least $850 million.”
Less than 2 weeks after the midterm election, on November 16, 2014, The Washington Times reported: “The Obama Administration quietly announced a program late last week to create a legal channel for immigrants from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala … to have their children still in their home countries join them in the U.S. as refugees.”
Not content with loading up America with Central American migrants, who are at least Christians, congressional Democrats also want to bring in Muslim refugees, from Syria. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) 0% is a signatory, with 13 other Democrats (led by Dick Durbin), of two letters to President Obama, since May, asking that he admit thousands of Syrian refugees.”
She also signed a similar letter, along with most of the other 13, plus 14 other Dems. This one went to Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS), Vice Chair Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee Chair Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Ranking Member Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT). It called for funding to “increase the capacity for refugee admissions to the United States” and to “significantly increase the number of refugees screened and admitted into the United States.”
The White House responded by promising to admit 185,000 Syrian refugees, over the next two years. This is a number that will surely rise, as the catastrophe in Europe worsens. It’s in addition to the 100,000 Muslim immigrants we absorb each year.
The disastrous wave of refugees was a direct result of Obama’s pulling our troops from Iraq, and launching a four-year civil war against Syria’s Assad, to depose him, just as he deposed Libya’s Gaddafi. The predictable result was millions of refugees. And since Socialist Europe shares our PC compassion, thousands of migrants seeking a better life joined them, sweeping into Europe.
But, is all this simply an accident? These two similar migrations, ignited by the same man, raise the specter of a planned, global redistribution of wealth and living standard—from the comfortable West to the desperate poor of the Middle East and Central America. And in the process, the Islamization of the West will be hastened.
